I truly regret that I stayed for only 1 night.
Since I am a solo-traveller, I wanted to chill in Puerto Princesa.
The hotel is super close to the airport, as you can say it is located within a walking distance, the hotel offered a comprementary transfer from/to the airport.
The room was clean and spacious. I did not want to leave!
It was an amazing experience to stay.

The location was in the center and public transpo was conveniently accessible. The bed was comfy, room size was acceptable, good running water. Housekeeping staffs were prompt. The staffs in the bkfast restaurant were not friendly, lacking in greeting the guests. The pool was small.

The location very close to Puerto Princesa Airport just few minutes walking.
So if you want to be close to the airport it is very convenient.
The breakfast is good.
The hotel is small and pleasant.
The stuff could be more open, more friendly and helpful to the customer.
The restaurant in the hotel is weak. Do not recommend. Drink bar is OK.

I had a great experience at Canvas Boutique Hotel overall.
It would be nice to provide bedroom sleepers in the room because it definitely helps the hotel guest relax after a long day of traveling to Puerto Princesa.
The metal parts of the sink can be cleaned a lot better.
It would be good to inform the guest at check in about using the blinds effectively.
Apart from the above, everything else was awesome, especially the staff on duty because they were ever ready to provide assistance to me.
One excellent example was, a staff asked me which van agency I was going to travel with from Puerto Princesa to El Nido, to make sure I was in safe hands. I asked the El Nido resort staff where I was going to spend the rest of my time at regarding the van agency and they replied, letting me know that the van driver will be going to inform of his arrival at Canvas Boutique Hotel before I take the van. The security guard at Canvas Boutique Hotel assisted with meeting the van driver and made sure I boarded the van safely.

the staff are the absolute best thing about this hotel, they are the friendliest most helpful people you could hope to meet: happy to chat and help and serve in any way they can. though really everything is great. the location is just an 8 minute walk from the airport, and they also have a free shuttle bus. the food and drink is excellent and good value. the swimming pool is nice and relaxing too.

Right outside the airport and friendly/ helpful staff. The room is such a weird layout … no mirror with the sink. The toilet room is as big as the bed. I wouldn’t come here for the pool (more of a pond). The breakfast options are pretty dire but the egg station is good.
